B i o g r a p h y

Born in Rome in 1983.

​Guitarist, arranger, composer, music teacher.

Simone Alessi was born in Rome, Italy, and grew up between the Blues’s passion of his father .
He started playing his Dad's guitar around age 14. At 16 he got his first electric guitar which was a Aria Pro 2 Strat. He upgraded to a Fender Stratocaster soon after.
He had his first band when he was 16 years of age called "The Stone Cold Crazy". An 80’s style Hard Rock band.
In high school, he had a band called "Crystal toast " and by then was playing a Gibson Les Paul Studio. They played Led Zeppelin’s songs  and also somenthig about Lynyrd Skynyrd and Deep Purple.
The drums player was Francesco Ziello who later went on to play with Simone in the “Porcelain electric quartet” a Electro-Jazz band.
The next band was great. They called it "The Bostic Trio" and started to get into Jazz/Rock fusion, writing their own arrangements on Rock classic’s song like Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Prince, Michael Jackson and also some rearranged classic blues tunes. 
Simone was now playing his Green Masterbuilt Fender Stratocaster. 

Chitarrista, arrangiatore, compositore, maestro di musica, da anni attivo nella scena musicale Romana.

The blues has always been present in the musical life of Simone and that was soon embodied in the "Texas Flood". A Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute band.

Meanwhile there are the collaborations with "AEDO", a pop rock band, "The Groove Machine", a funky big band, and with various songwriters.

In 2004 he recorded an album with  the "Neropaco" an italian Rock band which also made an Italian tour and participate at "San Remo Rock Festival". And in 2006 two B-sides: one with the "Bostic Trio" called "Let's funk" and one with Umberto Donati, an italian songwriter.

In 2008 he was hired as lead guitarist in a band called "Decay of Myriad". A progressive rock band.

And in 2010 he creates with Francesco Ziello and Claudio La Greca the "Porcelain electric quartet".

Sice 2011 Simone play in his Rock band​ with his own original songs:

"The Rocket from the Moon's eye".
